Paintings and Drawings
by Warren Hurley
From a very early age I knew I could draw.
Art quickly became a major force in my life. When
I started painting, I liked it so much I
couldn't stop. I always have a painting that I am working on.
After attending the State University of
New York at New Paltz and New York
University, I taught others how to draw and
paint for more than three decades. I
taught in Edinburgh, Scotland as a
Fulbright Fellow. My work has been exhibited in New York and Europe.
My latest painting is titled, Coleman: Generous, Suave and Strong. It is a portrait of my daughter's long-time friend and companion who passed away a little over a year ago. He will long live in the memory of all who were fortunate to know him.
